Community Management Model for the improvement of school infrastructure in rural environments

In the year 2015, the Universidad Modular Abierta established the objective to perform a situational diagnosis of the educational establishments of the town Lourdes in the district of Colón, department of La Libertad. A descriptive exploratory research was developed, having support of the inductive methodology with qualitative analysis; looking for the physic conditions that it has. It is a problem that every educational center faces daily, making it difficult to reach the educational quality that plans the National Educational Plan. With the support of the situational analysis that was developed the community management model, which was given to each educational establishment in order to be used as input to private businesses and financial institutions that could help them to solve the problematic and to develop the community self-management.
