Original research article: Document presenting in detail the original results of completed research projects. The structure of the original research article should have the following parts:

  • Summary
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Materials and methods
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusions
  • References

Introduction: Collects information about the purpose of the research and the importance of the research. It should also include the objectives, problem statement, hypothesis (if applicable) and conceptual framework. These elements should be presented clearly, without falling into unnecessary depths and without items.

Materials and Methods: Describes in detail the manner in which the study was conducted from the type of research, population and sample (if applicable); Instruments used for the collection and processing of information.

Results and Discussion: This section summarizes the most relevant data collected and the type of analysis performed, which in turn respond to the problem presented in the introduction. The internal structure of this section will depend on the quantity and type of data collected.

Conclusions: After presenting the results, we proceed to evaluate and interpret their implications, especially the one related to the main purpose of the research that is to answer the question. It is recommended to emphasize the importance of the results and the validity of the conclusions.

Review article: Document resulting from a bibliographical study that compiles, analyzes, synthesizes and discusses published information on a theme of the area of agricultural production or sustainable development, in order to account for the advances and trends of development. It is characterized by presenting at least 50 references. The structure of the review articles should have the following parts:

Introduction: The background and reasons for addressing the subject under review are presented.

Development: The method used and the selection criteria to obtain information are explained with precision, in order to avoid bias in the review, presenting in a clear way the synthesis of the results found and the most relevant aspects.

Conclusions: These are written based on the most important inferences during the review. They must also be clear and forceful, without being superfluous or wandering in the connection of ideas.

Arbitration process
All articles are reviewed by the Scientific - Editorial Coordination, which verifies the fulfillment of the criteria requested for the publication. After this review, the documents are sent to the Scientific Arbitration Committee, who evaluate the scientific and academic quality of the same, through the double-blind process. The journal takes a maximum of 60 days to notify the author. Accepting the articles and making the adjustments and the precisions, to that they take place, these happen to correction, in whose process the particular style of each author is respected. This correction is of form, never of content. In addition each evaluation pair must attach the article valuation form. In special cases in which the author (authors) receives a notification with observations and this (these) do not comply with them, it is at the discretion of the publisher the publication or rejection of the article.

Special Considerations

  • The editor is the one who has the authority and authority to publish or reject the articles of investigation, after having passed an arbitration process.
  • All work submitted to the journal must include an affidavit attesting to the originality of the product. This form will be signed by the author and / or authors.
  • Any modification to the articles will be duly consulted to the author and / or authors to make them.
  • The texts will be original or revision and should not be considered for publication in another magazine and / or national or foreign book. Neither should they be published in digital repositories or similar public domain, formal or informal.
  • Each author contributing a published article will receive a copy of that journal number. Once published the article in Agricultural Production and Sustainable Development, the author can not divulge communications or opinion articles on the same research in another magazine or medium.
  • Unpublished articles will be returned to the authors without modification, accompanied by a clarifying note.
