Abstract

In the Central District until the seventies decade the urban fragmentation was not so evident, Central Park was considered the center, constituted the point of origin and identity and orientation given to the city, was the area of greatest urban hierarchy, home of political, economic, religious and social. However, with the changes made since the eighties, the situation changes, the city cease to represents a continuous space to make way for a city characterized by fragmentation and urban segregation.
