Choroid plexus carcinoma is considered within brain tumors as one of the most uncommon, occurring mainly in the pediatric population with the highest incidence in men. The main clinical manifestations are secondary to the obstruction of cerebrospinal fluid flow. Among the imaging studies that can be used to make the diagnosis are CT and MRI however the definitive diagnosis is the anatomopathological study. We present the clinical case of a 13-year-old boy who attended the pediatric emergency of the Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital for a two-month headache that subsequently showed impaired gait and right hemiparesis. The main goal of treatment is total resection however it is not achieved in all cases. The use of adjuvant chemotherapy with or without radiation has been proposed, however this approach has not yet been standardized.
