Abstract

The Tolosa-Hunt syndrome is a few frequent entities whose etiopathogeny and physio- pathological mechanisms are still controversial. The headache associated to the paralysis of one or more cranial nerves, diplopia, strabismus, and palpebral ptosis, all these because by the involvement of the cavernous sinus and/or the superior orbital fissure. It Is considered a benign and rare disorder. Its Diagnosis is challenging among the long list of differential diagnoses of painful ophophthalmoplegia and the most frequent causes some of them more severe must be ruled out. Given The few reports available in literature, we present a series of 4 Cases that met the clinical and radiological criteria for a diagnosis of THS.
