Abstract

The septate hymen constitutes a rare anatomical variant1,2,4,5 and despite the fact that there are few published investigations to determine the frequency of these anatomical variants, in studies carried out in newborns and in fetal cadavers it was found that the frequency of Septate hymen was 0.06% and 2% respectively 4,5.
