Sexual violence against women. Case report.

Introduction: Sexual violence against women is a problem of great magnitude, which has not been adequately dimensioned, due to the tendency of victims not to report it.
Justification: In Honduras, 24% of women reported having suffered some type of sexual violence at some point in their lives, so research in this field is relevant.
Summary of the case: Adult female who was sexually attacked by unknown man who intercepted her on public roads, the complaint and the integrated investigation culminated in the capture and conviction of the accused.
Conclusion: This case illustrates the importance of integrated work between investigative, forensic and prosecutorial entities for the proper management of information that culminated in the arrest of the suspect and justice for the victim.
