¿How urgently we must address the problem of violence against woman in Honduras?

Justification: Although the country has legal regulations that in theory allow it to adequately counteract the problem of violence against women, in practice this is not always possible due to operational limitations.
Objective: Reflect on the urgent need for the State of Honduras to prioritize, through its institutions, the problem of violence against women, which has reached alarming proportions.
Conclusion: The alarming situation of violence experienced by Honduran women requires the urgent implementation of effective public policies on gender-based violence in order to reduce the shocking figures that affect the population in general, but women in particular, affecting their human development.
