Abstract

The purpose of the study is to describe the interpersonal relationships between third-year students and teachers in the Department of Education at UNAN-Managua. Interpersonal relationships in the classroom are a key aspect of the social and emotional climate and student motivation. A survey was conducted to 112 students, 15 observations were made, and ten interviews were conducted with students from different programs in the Department of Education. The results reveal that there are good interpersonal relationships between students and faculty, as evidenced during on-site observations of the practice of institutional values and principles, thus facilitating the promotion of peace and good coexistence between students and faculty. However, there is a challenge to continue working on approximately an average of six percent to further strengthen and optimize the quality and warmth of the interaction process in interpersonal relationships between students and faculty in the Department of Education.
