A union proposal for OSC's maquiladora industries

Abstract

In this paper we analyze the characteristics of civil society, whose experience is essential to participate in the construction and organization of Local Citizen Congresses, whose role is to facilitate the effective participation of the population in solving problems, local, national and even regional. The latter case is the focus of this paper, which sets out a proposal to prevent the maquilas continue exploiting the poor in Latin America, by proposing to pay equal wages for equal work throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
