Education in prisons in El Salvador: An approach

This article comprises two parts. The first is an overarching, general presentation of a historical review of the modern concepts of incarceration, and reinsertion of persons deprived of liberty. This is contrasted with educational initiatives that have gained relevance in the field of education and the fundamental concepts that have emerged. The second part is an in-depth look at the fundamental empirical aspects in the development of high-quality educational processes in the educational facilities in the penal system in El Salvador.
