The present work deals with the transnational activism of the Black Lives Matter movement during the period between 2013-2016 and analyzes its impact on the international community. For this, the discussion around the article is divided into three topics. In the first, the concept of race and its intellectual and historical dimension within the social sciences are covered, specifically in the field of International Relations. In the second topic, the processes that naturalized a system that was constituted and sustained through racial violence present at different levels of the social structure are discussed. The third topic describes the mechanisms of action for the construction of an anti-racist scenario through the case study of the projection of the Black Lives Matter movement to the international community. It is considered that the movement can be called an actor of great impact as its actions and instruments of mobilization denounce, pressure and raise awareness of different levels and sectors of American and world society against racism. Methodologically, the research is qualitative, bibliographic, descriptive and case study.
