Abstract

Medellin as ecclesial event, can only be understood from the Latin American reality sixties. In the same way the document on the education should be understood in the context of the educational reality of the continent. If Medellin is the most lucid moment of Latin American ecclesial consciousness. If Medellin is the most lucid moment of Latin American ecclesial consciousness his fourth document constitutes the most relevant pedagogical contribution of the Church in this continent.
