Acquisition of Comprehension Strategies for Plurilingual Education in Virtual Contexts

In this article, the didactic methodology applied in the multilingualism workshop called "Transversal Module" is presented, a complementary activity to the theoretical class of Romance and Germanic Linguistics of the degree in Foreign Languages in the University City of the National Autonomous University from Honduras. In the workshop, developed in virtual mode in the second academic period of 2022, authentic texts have been used and the objective has been to raise students' awareness about their own learning strategies and implement new ways to understand and learn foreign languages, in particularly the romances. The results obtained are promising, since some students have stated that they feel more confident when faced with understanding authentic texts. They have indicated that they are less afraid and have more methodological tools to approach the task.
