Research Results Extension for Environmental Education

Abstract

The objective of the work is to develop a strategy for the introduction of research results that contributes to the environmental education of the UBPC La Granjita, Guamá municipality, Santiago de Cuba, through the extension action of university students of Agricultural Engineering. Methods and techniques such as analysis - synthesis, inductive-deductive, system and historical-logical approach were applied. During the processing of diagnostic information, it was confirmed that the environmental education of agricultural workers is insufficient; For this reason, their environmental training was intended, through the extension work of the students with actions aimed at the orientation, demonstration and control of the activities. The results obtained allow us to conclude the importance of specifying integrative educational actions for the mitigation and / or adaptation of the cultivation processes to the effects of climate change in the investigative teaching component of the students, which in this area of the country is very evident.
