The purpose of this work is to determine the coping resources used in women victims of domestic violence, belonging to the Women's Movement of the López Arellano y Aledaños neighborhood (MOMUCLAA). The quantitative approach was used, using a Likert-type scale as instruments for data collection, delving into the categories social support, spiritual support, open emotional expression, avoidance and problem solving. The sample in this study was 40 women. The results show that women belonging to this movement do use coping resources and seek to solve the problem, thus it is also reflected that open emotional expression is the least used resource. It is vitally important to generate a commitment in society to address this less-used resource. Prevention and intervention through a monitoring plan from the student population and professors of the Psychology career at the National Autonomous University of Honduras in the Sula Valley UNAH-VS or another educational organization would be convenient to create a positive impact on mental health and physical health of each member of the MOMUCLAA movement.
