This article presents the teaching experience of the Department of Letters attached to the Faculty of Humanities of the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH), with the Euclides 3 linkage project, which is developed in the municipality of San Ignacio, department of Francisco Morazán, under the coordination of the Mathematics Degree. The methodology used for reinforcement in Mathematics, Spanish and Philosophy aimed at secondary school students of this municipality is described, as well as the main challenges faced to improve their academic performance. From the simulation of the Academic Aptitude Test (PAA), it was observed that the results were relatively equitable between genders, with a slight advantage for female students. In terms of areas, students obtained better results in Spanish compared to Mathematics, which highlights the need to strengthen the latter through workshops and seminars. In regards to urban and rural areas, better results were obtained by educational centers in urban areas, the performan-ce of students was more outstanding than in the rest, which forces us to pay more attention to the provision of resources to strengthen rural areas. These observations seek to raise awareness among young people about the importance of studying for a more promising future for both themselves and their families.
