Observation of the partial solar eclipse of October 14, 2023 from UNAH University City, Tegucigalpa, Honduras

This article is about the activities carried out in Tegucigalpa, Honduras within the framework of the partial solar eclipse of October 14, 2023. With the purpose of providing the population with different techniques to observe this astronomical event safely. Images of the eclipse are also documented. The observation of the eclipse was carried out at the Faculty of Space Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Honduras, between 10:01:05 and 13:30:01 local time and from this site the solar eclipse was partially observed, reaching an obscuration of 89.4% at the maximum. Images were obtained with an 8-inch diameter Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope to which a Canon EOS Rebel T5 camera was attached and used with the EOS Utility software. During the development of the eclipse, a sequence of 49 images was obtained.
