The Open Chair on Human Rights at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the Catholic University of Santa Fe (UCSF) is conceived as a university extension platform aimed at fostering the exchange of knowledge, consolidating local and international networks, and promoting a critical, Latin American, and eco-social perspective on human rights. This article presents the Chair’s experience as a community engagement mechanism, outlining its objectives, methodology, impacts, and challenges.
