Abstract

This essay is a reflection born from the installation of exhibitions honoring various important figures in our artistic and cultural history. The common denominator is that they are all women, and whether intentionally or unintentionally, they have been relegated or excluded—with a few honorable exceptions—from our official historiography. This has been a project that has linked our artistic work with various international organizations and brought together various departments of our institution to enrich these exhibitions honoring Honduran women who have left an indelible mark on our national history.
