This article is an overview on my book Entre una ética metafísica y una ética práctica.
Estudio sobre el pensamiento ético tradicional y sobre las teorías morales modernas y posmodernas, which is coming soon.
Through this book I have shown and argued on the ethics which has its grounds on metaphysics, on the one hand, and on that ethics which appeals to experience, practice or concrete At the end of our text we have met a dilemma: What is the most suitable ground for ethics? Should ethics be based on metaphysics? Is not this last position an old fashioned point of view on ethical matters, which leave out the richness of concrete situation? Would not be much better that ethics should be based on concrete issues, considering the changing situation and the changing moral norms and values? If this was the case, ethics could not have any universal claim.
