Abstract

The Artistic Education course is a powerful opportunity in the national curriculum to favor an integral and integrative education. Here, a tool that helps teachers to mainstream the contents of this subject in basic education is taken forward from a recent experience of teacher training in artistic education. In this matrix of reference for the teacher, the tool takes up the contents of visual arts included in the Program of Studies of the subject of Artistic Education, those other transversal axes that are part of the curriculum and other international conventions, such as the Objectives of Sustainable Development 2030 (UN) and also retakes the contents of the other subjects of the First and Sixth Grade Study Programs that suggest routes for the mainstreaming of the Artistic Education course in the basic education curriculum.
