Abstract

It this test is performed a comparative analysis of the hours of work and concept of work and workers in the domestic sector in the Central American region, taking as a starting point of International Labour Organization  conventions  related  both  to  domestic  work  as  of  the  working  hours.  In  this  document they  highlight  is  the  multiple  labor  violations  to  which  they  are  subjected  persons  in  the  household sector  in  Central  America,  mainly  with  regard  to  their  right  to  a  fair  and  reasonable  day.  The  trial evidence unconstitutional regulation made by some countries in the region on the working hours of the domestic  sector,  at  the  same  time,  proposes  recommendations  to  overcome  this  situation,  proposing the  ratification  of  the  ILO  conventions  that  promote  fair  and  reasonable  days  for  this  sector,  since  a human rights approach to States.
