Abstract

In this article the author intends to demonstrate the main economic, legal, social and family benefits generated by the implementation of telework in labor legal systems, to promote their recognition and legal regulation in the different countries of the region. The discussion of this work, which is part of the progress of the author’s thesis for the degree of doctor of law from the Polytechnic University of Nicaragua, focuses on the conceptual theoretical framework of the regional report "Challenges for the Implementation of Telework in the Labor Legal Systems of Central American Countries" prepared as a product of the research stay at the University of San José, Costa Rica as a fellow of the regional academic exchange program, organized by the General Secretariat of the Central American Integration System and sponsored by Spanish cooperation between May and June 2016
