Abstract

The questions that were developed in this article were: What are the conditions of the elderly in Nicaragua? What is the relationship of the right to food to other human rights? What are the fundamentally constitutional and laws that support alimony? Based on the review in national and international repositories, analysis of scientific articles, monographic theses and specialist reference on the subject of family law, the need for jurists and the public administration in Nicaragua to contribute to creating more societies is perceived. fair through the maintenance of food to those older adults in vulnerable conditions.

This essay analyzes the status of the elderly, their human and constitutional rights, as well as characteristics of the alimony such as their reciprocal, highly personal and non-transferable nature, conditions that must be met to qualify for a pension, responsible degrees of consanguinity, exemplification of cases and the opinions and criteria of lawyers on the aspects of responsible responsibility for a claim to be approved in their favor.
