Abstract

Motivation and educational communication are elements that the educator of the 21st century should prioritize as didactic strategies to eliminate mechanical and traditional communication and teaching; to transform them into motivating skills that attract inquiry, research and extension projects and social engagement. This essay intends to reflect on the weaknesses and strengths that university professors have while developing a class. The empathy, experience and affection of the professor towards his students, and active participation in participatory methodologies dedicated to communication and motivation; can define the success or failure of university students.
