Quality management in educational institutions is essential to guarantee excellence and compliance with standards. In this scientific essay, the progress of quality management at the Regional Multidisciplinary Faculty of Estelí (FAREM-Estelí) of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN-Managua) during 2022 was examined. The objective was to determine the quality management in FAREM-Estelí, during the year 2022, through the interrelation of the macro processes established for UNAN-Managua. Two national authorities, six macroprocess coordinators and fourteen members of the faculty council were consulted for the collection of information. Interviews, focus groups, institutional documents and literature review were used as data collection methods. The results revealed significant progress in quality management, highlighting the importance of the interrelation of macroprocesses to strengthen the organizational structure and optimize internal processes. The participants highlighted the cooperation and collaboration between the actors involved, as well as the positive impact of coordinated actions. However, challenges were identified, such as improving communication and encouraging the participation of all members of the institution.
