Abstract

This text is an expository essay that focuses on present the achievements and challenges that Escuela Normal Superior de Urabá (ENSUR) has faced during the 25 years of its existence, highlighting its impact on teacher training and its contribution to the social transformation of the Urabá region in Colombia. ENSUR, designed to fight against conditions adverse to the formation of citizens, was committed to building a school for coexistence and culture from pedagogy.  These 25 years of life have had as a mobilization strategy towards its mission, the accreditation of its organizational structure.
