The main purpose of this essay is to analyze how constructivism can improve and enrich the learning of literary text commentary, given that this approach not only helps learners in their writing process, but also allows them to develop a deeper and more enriching understanding of the texts and works they study. The general principles and their impact on collaborative learning within the teaching process are presented. It also highlights that discussion and collaborative work are key to reflection and interpretation of literature, diversifying the understanding of literary texts. In short, the essay explains how, with the implementation of the constructivist approach in the commentary of literary texts, students enhance their critical and, above all, communicative skills, where analysis becomes a meaningful holistic activity rather than a purely academic one, allowing literature to be appreciated from multiple layers of meaning.
