Abstract

On this paper the authors will explore the recently discovered archeological site of cerro Santa Julia on Zapatera island, Nicaragua. The site consist on an artificial platform with four monoliths covered by petroglyphs that could be compared with some iconographic evidence from other Mesoamerican cultures. We also want to draw attention on the increase deterioration of the site.
