Abstract

In El Salvador, the textile sector is one of the most important in total manufacturing production, with an average, from 1990 to 2016, of 8.1%, behind industrial maquila services and milling and bakery products. It is due to this that the importance of this sector in the national economy is highlighted, so the implementation of the methodology addressed in this article, that is, the work measurement model, can be very useful in manufacturing industries, as it can contribute to the improvement of processes and productivity in companies in this field.
