Abstract

The entrepreneurs and PYMES of the productive sector are extremely important for the economic development of the country, for this reason it is necessary to get to know the environment and it’s components and identify which entrepreneurial and governmental sectors will support the sustainable development; the objective of this investigation is to create proposals which will help fortify the entrepreneurial and innovative ecosystem which increases the PYMES competency incorporating new technological tools and strategies emphasizing the Western area of El Salvador taking into account several key differential aspects in the business and model types which differs by region.

Currently, innovative technology is becoming a key instrument which is necessary for the economic and social development of the country, especially within businesses whose business models incorporate technological tools of production, commercialization and value propositions.

This study proposes to analyze different existing technologies within the 4.0 revolution, emphasizing ones that will adapt to a sustainable strategy in the PYMES contexts and whose applications can be compared to Entrepreneurial characteristics to establish recommendations and strategic actions on which technological tools will be best utilized to increase competency among the businesses in the Western Area of El Salvador.
