Current status of digital content strategies to promote the visual cultural elements of the municipality of Santa Ana

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), being an organization that works to contribute to peace and security in the world, promotes actions to be carried out following the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); In this case, through objective 11 “Sustainable cities and communities”, it seeks to make a greater effort so that the people who are part of the countries that focus on making changes in their environments, can rescue, save and save those elements that They belong to the cultural heritage, as well as all the natural resources that are within their reach and on this occasion El Salvador is no exception. The objective of the research was to verify the actions in multimedia communication and promotion of the visual cultural elements of the city of Santa Ana, by institutions in charge of ensuring their promotion, whether municipal, governmental or private, as well as the elements used. in their digital content strategies, which can be made available to the population through the management of different digital communication devices and the use of social networks. Through this approach, it was possible to establish citizen perception about the information they receive, its quality and relevance, among other important aspects. The results showed that institutions do not carry out concrete actions to promote cultural elements, for this reason, the importance of continuing with those actions aimed at promoting and communicating visual cultural elements is highlighted.
