Abstract

The general situation of women is closely linked to the evolution of Feminism, which throughout history has had the task of vindicating the rights and guarantees that correspond to women as persons and as human beings. However, in spite of the urgent need to achieve women's access to the fullness of their rights, the Salvadoran State has a historical debt, which to date has not been paid, because in spite of all the legal-normative advances related to gender equality, at present, sexual and reproductive health rights continue to be denied, which has generated serious consequences for Salvadoran women.
