The competitiveness model of Micro and Small agro-industrial companies and handicrafts of export is the target of the study of this task, for the establishment and development of productive linkage strategies with broad participation of stakeholders in the ecosystem of the eastern zone of El Salvador. The model considers it essential to establish mechanisms and instruments that contribute to the strengthening of linkage strategies productive within the agricultural and handicrafts sector, with the potential to develop agro-industrial innovations and export processes within the handicrafts sector. The analysis evaluated the capacities that the sectors must possess to provide resources for the incorporation of added values to the primary products that are generated, as well as competitive jobs, achieve advantages through innovation, knowledge transfer and development of skills of the main agricultural and handicraft chains in the eastern part of the country. The evaluation of the current characteristics of competitiveness on the sectors identifies accesses, capacities and knowledge that strengthen supply chains value and its sources of financing, technological development, human resource training specialized, on which the mapping of potential financial sources for the agricultural innovation and the promotion and development of higher value chains production was founded.
