Abstract

This research determines the impact of the housing model in 22 communities in two local groups in Bajo Lempa: Los Calix and Amando López. The research takes into account participatory approaches to information gathering with gender equality, promoted in Popular Education workshops, in the communities involved in the basic community infrastructure projects in two specific sections: Housing as an object of social study, and housing as an object of architectural study. These sections assess impact indicators: technological, institutional, economic, political, socio-cultural, and environmental of the communities under management. The research emphasizes the quest for a typological model of decent housing with an environmental approach and adaptation to climate change.
