Citizen education. Sense that teachers give him in an educational institution of the city of Manizales

This work presents the results of the investigation «Senses that teachers grant citizenship training in the institution Liceo Isabel La Católica School the city of Manizales (Colombia)».
In this study was sought to reveal the senses that the teachers of said institution give the citizen education. The research approach qualitative approach allowed the information from the method of ethnography reflexive conceived as a method for approaching practices and ways of being cultural.
The research technique were semi-structured and in-depth interviews. As a result, it was evidenced that there is an empirical knowledge of citizenship and citizen education can identify themselves in the daily practices of teachers, in the relationship with their students, the staging of civic education.
