Participatory Action Research (PAR) and the Participatory Methodologies (MP) in social research has enabled great advances in research development. Interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research have been difficult to work harmoniously due to several reasons. This leads us to think over methodologies to be used by multidisciplinary team research, which highlight importance of participatory methodologies (MP) and participatory action (IAP) to strengthen this research approaches, and also contribute to solve research problems within disciplines. This work was conducted through desk research and analysis of case of studies where multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research was applied. The main objective was to analyze the importance of Participatory Methodologies (MP) and Participatory Action, to strengthen the research approaches.
