Abstract

Graduate studies are periodic actions carried out by the University to establish the impact and relevance of its training offer. In this research, the academic and work trajectory of the graduates of 15 Bachelor programs is carried out; In addition, the degree of satisfaction with the training received during the studies at the University in the period from 2009 to 2016 is evaluated and determined. This research is done to formulate follow-up proposals to enhance the link between the university and society through training processes and job placement. A descriptive study was carried out with direct responses to the participants in both digital, printed and electronic formats. Additionally, institutional databases, student exit records and contact lists were reviewed as strategies to locate graduates and determine satisfaction and evaluation of the training. The findings allow to base processes of design and curricular redesign, the creation of Alumni associations, prioritize topics for continuous training and generate the bases for the formulation of the Employment Exchange and the organization of the Labor Observatory of Education Professionals.

Yenny Aminda Eguigure Torres, Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán

Docente del Departamento de Ciencias Matemáticas (DECIMA) y Asistente Técnico del Instituto de Cooperación y Desarrollo (INCODE) de la UPNFM. Es Doctora en Innovación Curricular Tecnológica e Institucional por la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia de España, Magíster en Ciencias de la Computación por el Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica. Ha formado parte de diversos proyectos de investigación a nivel mundial. Ha publicado una variedad de libros y artículos científicos en revistas hondureñas e internacionales.

Onis Jessica Zepeda Rodríguez, Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán

Docente del Departamento de Tecnología de Alimentos y Textiles de la UPNFM. Es Máster en Desarrollo Local y Turismo por la Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC) y Master en Currículum por la UPNFM. Ha ejercido como jefa del Departamento de Tecnología de Alimentos y Textiles, así como, Asistente Técnico de la Dirección de Extensión de UPNFM. Ha participado en una diversidad de proyectos de investigación y ha publicado diferentes artículos científicos en revistas a nivel internacional.
