Abstract

Antique philosophy is fundamentally a practice used as a medium in the spiritual exercise of our own transformation, through an agenda of “conversation” and successive intakes of conscience: First, “learn how to live” taking a look of ourselves; Second, “learn how to dialogue” to acknowledge ourselves through the effort of simple dialectic that searches the truth; third “learn how to die” in serenity and clarity; Fourth, “learn how to read” surfing a vision of thing dominated by individual passions, a more objective and universal vision of the world. The agenda is accessible for today's man and, searches more like that he can surpass himself and builds a new way of be-in-the-world and takes consciousness of himself as a part of Nature, as a patch of the Universal Reason. All of this is achieved through the practice of “spiritual excercises” intended to carry to wisdom.
