Perceptions of students to the class of general philosophy at the central campus of the National Autonomous University of Honduras

In 2010, during the University´s Degree Program of Scientific Research, the following profile was proposed and developed by the name of “The students´ perception toward the philosophy courses that are taught in the UNAH Campus.” The study began with a survey to find out the students perception toward the course and their previous knowledge from high school. Five components were evaluated: 1. Knowledge of the program and content. 2. Perception of the philosophy course. 3. Knowledge of the themes and authors. 4. Educational mediation. 5. Attitude toward the course. The survey was applied at the end of July in 2011, taking a sample of 215 students from 17 different philosophy classes. The following study will expose the investigations´ results of the most important analysis.
