Abstract

The study focused on assessing the causes of women's non-participation. The
Political participation is one of the fundamental problems that need to be addressed in the area throughout the country, because it is a complication that especially affects women and inequity is being provided with respect to the allocation of resources.

This work was carried out by reviewing the publications of the specialists in the field. The results show that the most vulnerable sectors that suffer from non-political participation are women, youth and indigenous communities. In the case of Nicaragua, it is mentioned that it leads with the participation of women in political spaces.
