About the Journal

The University Magazine is the official communication organ of the Alma Mater since 1909. At its beginnings, this publication was linked to the dissemination of scientific knowledge, expressed from its launch by the Historian Rómulo E. Durón. Over time, it became consolidated as a publication aimed at expressing the University's activities in its substantive and strategic functions related to different areas such as cultural reflection, creation, criticism, cultural management, and interdisciplinary knowledge management; the magazine is positioned in the dimensions of cultural dissemination, Sciences, and Humanities.

Objective
To respond to the constant concern of the Directorate of Culture in disseminating and managing a visualization space for the university community of UNAH, where it serves as a useful tool to show findings and research that allow them to advance solidly in their academic work and provide solutions to national problems.

Approach
It is the dissemination, promotion, and participation of the academic work of all areas of knowledge, with high standards of quality, written in accessible language for both academic and non-specialized audiences. Promoting scientific research in sciences and culture in general, with analysis, creation, and university reflection, both national and international, fostering the field of humanities and sciences.
