Extravasación de mucina a nivel ventral de la lengua. Reporte de caso de Mucocele de las glándulas de Blandin Nuhn

Abstract

A 12-year-old male patient who goes to the Gabriela Alvarado Hospital in Danlí, El Paradiso with a ventral level injury of the tongue, related to the glands of Blandin Nun, which is composed of mucous and seromucous acini. Mucocele by extravasation occurs mostly in young patients and are caused by traumas such as bites or micro traumas as orthodontic treatments. Ventral mucocele is rare within reported cases.
