We have decided to complete this trilogy of great exponents of Honduran painting sharing in this section of Art, unpublished works by Ruiz Matute that we are sure will be welcomed by Honduran art historians who will value these works and shed light on the early years of artistic production of maestro Matute, especially his years in Mexico, a country that due to its theme and pictorial influence of the reproduced works is the place where the artist made them. Although it is true that the history of Honduran art is yet to be built, the meeting of a visual corpus of the artist and his works will facilitate this much-needed task, especially since Academy we are obliged to contribute to our society that knowledge of its history and its main protagonists, an obligation that our Constitution of the Republic imposes on us, but that the moral duty to carry it out is greater to return to Honduran society the knowledge and knowledge in our classrooms and research centers generated.
