Abstract

Contemporary architecture in Latin America began in the mid-twentieth century by influences from international movements. For example, Mexico, Ecuador, and Costa Rica are cases where contemporary architecture evolved. In Honduras, this movement lacks clarity therefore, it generates debate of which were the schools of thought that define an identity for Honduran architecture. Honduras has a small amount of printed/digital documentation on contemporary Honduran architecture. The present research consists of studying the connotation and denotation of architecture in a period of 2018 – 2023.
