Abstract

This essay is written as a simple tribute to Evaristo López Rojas, prominent personality of the Honduran artistic and cultural life of the last half century that has started in the present 2023 and that has left us an invaluable editorial and documentary work that allows us in the present to know our cultural, artistic and social history of that half century that was dedicated to photographic record of many events and especially of its main protagonists. Its vast experience in graphic arts led to the National Autonomous University of Honduras has entrust him with the direction of the University Press, a responsibility to which he put his heart and soul towards the last years of his exceptional and valuable life, hence the close relationship between this Don Quixote of books and our Institution, from that invaluable contribution to the academy are also born these lines that seek to honor their cultural, professional and, above all, human legacy.
