Abstract

The present study aims to describe the occupational profile of graduates from the Psychology program at the National Autonomous University of Honduras in Ciudad Universitaria during the years 2020-2022. Employing a descriptive quantitative approach, a sample of 193 graduates was examined, wherein 76.4% are female, with an average age of 29.01 years, ranging from 23 to 35 years. Findings reveal that 1 in 3 graduates work in psychology. Notable skills learned during their education include basic ability in English, intermediate-level ability in computer programs, and competencies in the industrial sector. Concerning employment conditions, the majority report adequate working conditions, with a predominant salary range of 16,000-20,000 lempiras, and a high proportion of institutional employment. Ultimately, job satisfaction is high among graduates working as psychologists.
