In Memoriam: Rutilia Calderón Padilla

Abstract

In the labyrinth of existences that we inhabit, we die fragmentarily in this obstacle course called life. Since my immersion in the teaching field in 1997, at the Center Regional of Choluteca of the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH), I have been a participant and witness of countless academic narratives. No However, it was at the beginning of 2006 when the echo of the name of Dr. Rutilia Calderón Padilla began to vibrate in the university corridors, announcing her appointment as Academic Vice-Rector of our alma mater.
