Abstract

The purpose of this document is to make an enriching reflection on the processes that make up university management. Although Higher Education institutions train students researchers and promote scientific research in different areas of knowledge, equal attention has not been paid to the study of the operating system of universities, which is fundamental because it determines the degree to which teaching, scientific research and links with society are optimally developed. The methodology used for construction of this document consisted of an exhaustive bibliographic review, which allowed us to address the concepts presented here in order to obtain their characterization and, for a greater understanding of them, its subsequent component specification.
